Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 2 cups chopped Halloween candies (I used m&ms, twix bars, reese's, milk duds, snickers, etc.)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 10- x- 15-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl; set aside.
  • Beat butter and sugars in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time, with the mixer running on low speed until combined, scraping down sides of bowl as needed.
  • Slowly beat in flour mixture on low speed until well combined, making sure not to over mix the batter.
  • Remove the bowl from the stand, and fold in candy. Spread batter into prepared pan; bake 30 minutes or until sides are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cut into bars.
